John-Deere-560M-Round-Baler

With the introduction of the 0 Series Round Balers for the 2018 haying season, John Deere is offering its first North American-built round baler precutter and the industry’s first 5-foot precutter baler.

The eight models that comprise the new 0 Series Round Balers build upon the popular 9 Series Balers and include several new features that improve hay pickup and overall baling speed and productivity in the field.

Kubota Hay Tools

Kubota has expanded its hay tools line, bringing to market new round balers and turntable bale wrappers; side-mounted and trailed disc mowers; trailed mower conditioners; and a complete range of rotary tedders and rakes.

The new machinery is designed specifically for the U.S. market to further expand Kubota’s presence in the larger agricultural product market.

John Deere 900 Series Round Baler

John Deere has introduced its 9000 Series Round Balers, designed for producers who bale silage or other forage for feed. According to Deere, these pre-cutter-type round balers are ideal for producers who pre-process the forage, making it easier to mix or grind before feeding.

“Many beef and dairy producers can save time and money by pre-processing silage and other forage crops when baling and put a denser, higher-quality forage in the bunk,” says Jeremy Unruh, product line manager of baling and mowing products for John Deere. “This is especially true when baling and feeding high-moisture silage. The 900 Series was designed specifically to address these challenges.”

 Hesston 2900 Series Round Baler

Hesston by Massey Ferguson has introduced its new 2900 Series round baler. This high-capacity baler is designed to feed faster and more smoothly, achieving dense, uniform big round bales regardless of the crop or crop conditions.

“The Hesston 2900 Series features design enhancements that keep pace with the productivity needs of our largest hay and livestock-feeding customers,” says Dean Morrell, product marketing manager for hay and forage equipment. “The Hesston legacy of innovation and commitment to quality is evident in the detailed engineering and rigorous testing that this Series has undergone.”
