McCormick X6

McCormick North America unveiled the all-new X6 tractor family during the 2015 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky. The X6 Series ranges from 111 to 133 maximum engine horsepower and is an evolution of the X60 Series mid-range tractors.

The new X6 Series lineup consists of two models: the X6.420 rated for 101 PTO horsepower, and the X6.430 rated for 111 PTO horsepower. Both models use a BETAPOWER 4.5 liter, four-cylinder diesel engine that. Advanced SCR technology helps these engine meet the EPA’s strict Tier 4i emissions regulations.

Transferring the power to the ground is a 36×12 transmission with hydraulic power shuttle and three power shift speeds that can shift under load to adapt to changing conditions.

Both models feature a 4WD front axle as standard equipment. The solid, cast steel axle with outboard planetary final drives engages electronically via simple push button. A fully locking front differential engages simultaneously with the rear differential for four-wheel pulling. Integrated front axle brakes are also standard equipment.

To meet the needs of their particular operation, customers have a choice of open center or closed center hydraulic systems. The simple, economical open center system provides up to 17 gpm of flow to the implements, while the deluxe closed center option puts out a 29 gpm of flow. An electronically controlled Category 2 rear three-point hitch has a lifting capacity of 11,900 lbs.
