John Deere Unveils Easy Change 30-Second Oil Change System

Deere launches the Easy Change 30-Second Oil Change System for quick and easy oil changes on select lawn tractors.  With the new system, owners can change oil by simply twisting on a new cartridge that contains both the oil and the filter – no engine oil drainage needed. This revolutionary technology makes changing the engine oil easy, quick, and clean. Changing the filter removes the captured contaminants and replaces about 0.8 qt (0.76 L) of the engine oil. Kubota Donates Equipment for Hurricane Harvey Relief

Governor Greg Abbott today joined officials from Kubota Tractor Corporation, Commissioner John Sharp and local elected leaders in Fulton, Texas to announce a $1 million dollar donation of funds and equipment from Kubota to the Hurricane Harvey relief effort. This donation will help provide the people of Aransas County and surrounding areas with the equipment and tools they need to help clear debris and expand efforts to rebuild businesses, homes, and entire communities that were devastated by Harvey. Following the announcement, the Governor expressed his thanks for Kubota’s generous contribution to the relief effort and to helping Texans in their time of need. (more…)

FPT Industrial Powers Agritechnica Award-Winning Tractors

The 2017 edition of Agritechnica opened with many awards ceremonies. A jury composed by 24 international expert journalists decided to mention FPT Industrial both in the “Tractor of the Year 2018” and “Machine of the Year 2018”. FPT Industrial was involved five times during these ceremonies: first for equipping McCormick’s X6.440 VT-Drive tractor, which won the “Tractor of the Year” award in the “Best Utility” category, then for powering Case IH Maxxum Multicontroller, STEYR Profi, New Holland Agriculture T6.175 Dynamic Command in the “Mid-Class” category and the CLAAS AXION 900 in the “High Horsepower tractors” category of the “Machine of the Year” award. John Deere To Celebrate 100 Years of Tractors

A Gold Key Tour for a Florida family and delivery of their new 8245R John Deere tractor – the first 2018 tractor made in Waterloo, Iowa – has kicked off a series of events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of John Deere entering the tractor business.

Deere hosted the Wade Purvis family of Naples, Fla., for the Gold Key event, during which customers can watch the final assembly of their newly purchased machine. The new tractor includes a commemorative badge that will be appear on several models of 2018 John Deere tractors including the 6 Series, 7 Series, 8 Series and 9 Series machines. Deere entered the farm tractor business in March 1918 through the acquisition of the Waterloo Gasoline Engine Company. (more…)

Kubota Announces Plans for $87 Million Expansion in Kansas

Kubota Tractor Corporation officially confirmed today its plans to plant solid roots in Kansas for its North American Distribution Center (NADC) by announcing the details of its letter of intent to purchase 203 acres near the company’s current leased facility in Edgerton, Kansas. The company plans to design and build two, one million square foot, facilities to expand their distribution capacity and streamline logistics processes for the timely delivery of Kubota branded service parts and equipment to its increasing customer base in the U.S. (more…)
