AGCO Introduces High Speed White Planters 9800VE Series Planters

AGCO Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, is bringing to market White Planters 9800VE Series planters equipped with SpeedTube seed tubes from Precision Planting. The planter will be introduced and on display at the AGCO Exhibit, Lots 7801 and 7823 during the 2017 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky.

AGCO Raising Funds with Pink Tractor

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, AGCO is taking the fight to the field to stand up to breast cancer. Working with one of its largest dealers in North America, Ziegler Ag Equipment, AGCO built a full-size 2015 model Challenger MT865E track tractor that sports the pink-for-the-cause paint finish to increase awareness of breast cancer.

Nicknamed ‘Tenacity,’ this track tractor is the centerpiece of AGCO’s campaign to bring awareness to the disease and raise funds to support research for a cure. (more…)

Challenger E Series Receives Updates for 2016

AGCO Corporation has updated the Challenger E Series with more comfort and operating ease.

“Challenger gives row crop innovators, small grain farmers and specialty application farmers improved performance, comfort, versatility and reliability with the MT700E, MT800E and MT900E Series tractors,” AGCO says in a release. “The 2016 MT700E, MT800E and MT900E Series lead the field and deliver increased productivity for row crop, broad acre, and specialty crop farming practices.” (more…)

Sunflower Introduces New 9830NT Air Drill Series

Sunflower is expanding its seeding product offering to include the new Sunflower 9830NT Series, an integrated seed hopper, single-disc air drill.

AGCO Raises $100,000 for Wounded Veterans

AGCO Corporation partnered with local AGCO dealers across the United States and Canada to raise nearly $100,000 in support of wounded service veterans. In a little over four months, from mid-May to the end of September, this money was raised for wounded service veterans. A $500 donation was made in the name of each dealership involved on behalf of AGCO for their involvement with the program.

The AGCO Sustainability Initiative focuses on improving the lives of present and future generations. As a part of this initiative, AGCO invests in the health of the communities it serves. (more…)

AGCO and Appareo Systems Join Forces for Agricultural Innovation

AGCO Corporation and Appareo Systems have agreed to enter a joint venture, building on the existing IAS (Intelligent Agricultural Solutions) business structure, to allow for breakthrough agricultural innovation.

This collaboration will focus on the need for more advanced electronic technology centered around data collection, wireless communication, advanced sensors and intelligent machine control. The proposed joint venture will build on the momentum of Fuse Technologies, AGCO’s approach to precision agriculture and precision machine management. Appareo will contribute to the initiative through research and development, Intellectual Property (IP) generation and advanced technology concept development, which will be deployed through AGCO Technology Solutions. AGCO Facility Upgrades Drive Product Quality Improvements

AGCO is in the midst of a multi-year, $42 million upgrade and expansion to its engineering and manufacturing facility in Jackson, Minn. The motivation behind the project, which kicked off in 2013, is to further improve the quality of the agricultural equipment built there, as well as the efficiency and production capacity of the facility.
