Challenger Introduces Tractor Management Center for MT600E Tractors

Challenger, a global brand of AGCO Corporation, introduced a new 9-inch, touch-screen Tractor Management Center (TMC) terminal and comprehensive offering of precision farming technology on the Challenger MT600E Series high horsepower tractors during the 2017 World Ag Expo. These tractors are now available with full integration of on-board precision technologies, including AgControl section and variable rate control, as well as TaskDoc Pro wireless data transfer. As part of the Fuse open approach to partnerships, customers will be able to choose either the NovAtel SMART6-L or Trimble AG-382 receiver to best match their existing base station and coverage needs.

Challenger MT400E Five-Model Mid-Range Tractor Lineup Unveiled

Challenger, a global brand of AGCO Corporation, launched the MT400E Series tractors at Husker Harvest Days 2016. Five new models in this series feature Challenger toughness and the most robust offering of features available in mid-range tractors from Challenger. With max engine horsepower ratings from 120 to 160 and the choice of three transmission options, including the TechStar™ (CVT), they are ideal for all-around use on livestock and row crop operations. Models include the MT455E (120 hp), MT465E (130 hp), MT475E (140 hp), MT485E (150 hp) and MT495E (160 hp).

Challenger E Series Receives Updates for 2016

AGCO Corporation has updated the Challenger E Series with more comfort and operating ease.

“Challenger gives row crop innovators, small grain farmers and specialty application farmers improved performance, comfort, versatility and reliability with the MT700E, MT800E and MT900E Series tractors,” AGCO says in a release. “The 2016 MT700E, MT800E and MT900E Series lead the field and deliver increased productivity for row crop, broad acre, and specialty crop farming practices.” (more…)

AGCO Facility Upgrades Drive Product Quality Improvements

AGCO is in the midst of a multi-year, $42 million upgrade and expansion to its engineering and manufacturing facility in Jackson, Minn. The motivation behind the project, which kicked off in 2013, is to further improve the quality of the agricultural equipment built there, as well as the efficiency and production capacity of the facility.

Challenger Launches MT800E Series Track Tractors

With an eye on helping farmers tackle tough conditions, Challenger has launched its MT800E Series track tractors. Available in four models ranging from 450 to 590 engine HP, these machines feature new AGCO POWER 168, 16.8L diesel engines.

Challenger To Unveil MT400D Series Mid-Range Tractors

Challenger plans to introduce and display its new MT400D Series mid-range tractors at the 2013 Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Ill., Aug. 27-29.

“These new MT400D Series tractors are built with the professional farmer in mind,” says David Bercik, product marketing manager. “These handy, productive tractors round out any fleet and are perfect for the daily chores of a busy farming operation.”

The MT400D Series includes five models – MT455D, MT465D, MT475D, MT485D and MT495D – ranging from 90 to 125 PTO horsepower. The 4.9-liter AGCO Power engine that powers each model features wet, replaceable cylinder liners and mid supports. The four-cylinder powerplant benefits from an intercooled turbocharger, four valves per cylinder, high-pressure common-rail fuel injection and electronic engine management. Each MT400D also meets Tier 4-interim emissions standards for North America. (more…)
