I bought this tractor new in 1998, it was a 14hp Hydro model 38"deck. Ran the first year with factory oils in both the Kohler and the tuff torq K56a. That winter all oils eere switched to Mobil 1 10W-30 for the engine and tuff torq recommends 5W-50 when using synthetic. Never any problems ...
