John Deere Unveils 5R Series Tractors and 540R Loader

John Deere introduces its new 5R Series Tractors that leverage existing technologies normally found in large tractors, to provide customers with unrivaled maneuverability, an easy-to-use transmission, increased visibility, loader integration, and operator comfort.

A 7.4-foot wheelbase paired with a 60-degree steering angle, provides a tight turning radius of 12.1 feet. Customers working in confined areas such as barns, will be able to easily maneuver in tight areas increasing their productivity. (more…)

John Deere CommandViewTM III Cab and Carbon Fiber Booms

Producers and ag service providers can enhance the capabilities of their new John Deere 4-Series Sprayers by adding a new lightweight carbon fiber boom and new CommandViewTM III cab that provides all-day comfort and a customizable workspace.

“The CommandView III cab comes equipped with the John Deere 4600 CommandCenter that enables producers and ag service providers to efficiently capture, manage and transfer data. The redesigned CommandARMTM features a multi-function handle to give operators additional ways to customize their work environment,” says Doug Felter, marketing manager, application equipment for John Deere. An optional heated, fully ventilated leather seat, also is available and can swivel up to 15 degrees for improved operator visibility to the area behind the sprayer. (more…)

John Deere Extends Warranties for Ag and Turf Equipment

John Deere announces that it has significantly increased the warranty periods for its Ag and Turf equipment parts, retroactive to parts sold after November 1, 2016. The new warranty terms apply to dealer-installed John Deere original equipment manufactured (OEM) parts and labor, as well as non-dealer or customer-installed John Deere OEM parts for the company’s Ag and Turf lines of equipment.

John Deere Introduces 2230 Field Cultivator & 2330 Mulch Finisher

To help producers prepare a more agronomically sound seedbed ahead of the planter in often short time windows, John Deere introduces two new tillage tools. These next-generation secondary tillage implements are designed from “below the ground up” to work faster and smarter, making customers more productive while effectively handling tough soil conditions and high levels of crop residue at speeds up to 10 mph.

John Deere Introduces two new 2R Series Tractors

Customers seeking a solution for increased productivity without sacrificing comfort will appreciate the expansion of the John Deere 2R Series Compact Utility Tractor line. Two new large-chassis models, the 2032R and 2038R, feature a redesigned body for improved stability and an offering in the 38 horsepower range, providing more options for any size operation.

The wide tractor stance and longer wheelbase of the 2032R and 2038R, combined with increased tractor weight, improve stability when navigating a variety of different terrains. A premium suspension seat, ergonomic controls, tilt steering wheel, cruise control and thick rubber floor mat provide a comfortable operator experience, reducing operator fatigue. New Composite Fuel Tank for John Deere 9R Series Tractors

New for model year 2017, the 9R Series Wheeled and Scraper Special Tractors will feature a redesigned composite fuel tank. The new sloped design of the tank improves the aesthetics of the 9R and rear visibility for the operator.

“The composite fuel tank also features a dual-fill design, allowing operators to fill the fuel tank from either side,” says Tiffany Turner, product marketing manager, John Deere. “The fuel tank capacity is 320 gallons on the 9370R and 9470R Tractors and 400 gallons on the 9529R and 9620R Tractors.” (more…)

John Deere Unveils MaxEmerge 5e Row Units

(Press Release) To help corn and soybean growers improve planting accuracy, reliability and uptime during this critical time of year, John Deere introduces the MaxEmerge 5e row units. Available in time for use next spring, the variable-rate MaxEmerge 5e row units can be used on a wide variety of John Deere planters, including popular mini-hopper and DB planters.
