Just about every long-serving industry likes to celebrate the past and it’s no different when it comes to tractors. Farmers started using powered implements about 200 years ago, which were little more than portable steam engines. From there manufacturers developed the first steam-powered tractors for plowing. The first gasoline-powered tractor appeared in 1892 and the evolution continues to this day.
