Bobcat has released four new Tier 4 excavators – the E42, E45, E50 and E55 – which include a non-DPF (diesel particulate filter) engine solution. The machines feature a new forward-mount instrumentation system.

According to Bobcat, the Tier 4 Bobcat non-DPF solution was achieved by designing an ultra-low particulate combustion (ULPC) engine. Bobcat Unveils New PTO-Equipped Utility Vehicles

Bobcat has recently unveiled an innovative new line of hydrostatic drive utility vehicles – the 3600 and 3650. The 3650 model is the industry’s first utility vehicle with the capacity to operate front-mounted PTO attachments.

Both the 3600 and 3650 offer cabs with both heat and air conditioning, making these true four-season work vehicles.

Bobcat 3600 Loading BalesPowered by 24.8-horsepower diesel engines, the new 3600 and 3650 join the 3200, 3400 and 3400XL in Bobcat’s utility vehicle family, along with the Toolcat 5600 and 5610 utility work machines.

One of the main drivers behind the 3600 and 3650 was the development of a hydrostatic drive system. The hydrostatic system in the new Bobcat UTVs provides durability, and uses a single two-speed motor with fewer moving parts.

Another key durability feature of the machines is a diesel engine that will automatically shut itself down if it experiences high engine coolant temperature, low engine oil pressure, or high hydraulic oil temperature. (more…)

Bobcat Unveils Seven New 500 Class Loaders

Bobcat has announced seven new 500 frame-size loaders, including five skid-steer models and two compact track models. According to Bobcat, the seven new medium-size machines make up the most popular size class in the Bobcat loader family.

Bobcat says the new loaders provide operators with extensive feature upgrades, including increased visibility, a more comfortable cab and easier serviceability to maximize jobsite efficiency. All seven models began limited production in September, with full availability at dealerships in January.

New machines include the S510, S530, S550, S570 and S590 skid-steer loaders, and the T550 and T590 compact track loaders. The S510, S550 and T550 feature a radius lift path, providing operators the reach and visibility they require for dumping over a wall, backfilling or loading flatbed trucks.

The S530, S570, S590 and T590 models feature a vertical lift path, providing operators the ability to lift heavier loads higher, making it easier to clear high-sided truck boxes and hoppers, as well as placing pallets loaded with heavy material. The M-Series vertical lift path machines feature an increased lift height over the equivalent K-Series models. (more…)
